Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared about traditions and why they are so impactful!

Out of our list of 10 easy family traditions, I have to be honest – family night is one of my favorites! While right now our family nights mostly consist of movies and snacks, we’ve been making the move into games nights as Levi gets a little older!

That’s why I was so excited when our friends at Bible Games Central reached out about some of their brand new games!

We loved playing Bible Bingo last year (and it’s still a family favorite!), so I was so excited to open up a package of some of their brand-new games.

One of the things I love about Bible Games Central is that they make discipleship seamless and fun! As our family played some of these new games, I realized discipleship was happening – my preschooler was learning about the Bible! – and we were having so much fun.

Another thing I love about Bible Games Central is how much amazing, FREE content is over at their site. As we move into the Christmas season, their collection of Christmas games is massive and has perfect ideas for at-home, for get-togethers or in your children’s ministry!

I especially love these Story of Christmas Minute to Win It games that would be great for Christmas in children’s ministry (and bonus, they’d go along great with our Greatest Story Christmas event)!

I also love this Christmas Scavenger Hunt page (so many good ideas AND printables!) – I’m hoping to incorporate the Treasure Hunt into one of our cozy evenings at home during the Christmas season.

Beyond their free goodies though, Bible Games Central creates some really amazing board games that will make your family nights awesome!

Let me share with you a few highlights:

Bible Match It Link It Box Product

Bible Match It Link It

This Bible Match It Link It game has been a huge hit in our house!

This game combines elements of “I Spy” and “Dominoes” to create family fun! We have mostly played using the collaborative approach.

Each family member takes a turn turning over a card and looking for a matching symbol to link them to another card!

It’s been amazing to watch my little guy start to recognize the symbols and the Bible stories they stand for – the stack of cards that comes with the game describing the Bible stories makes it possible to have real, faith-based conversations right in the middle of play!

There are 4 modes of play explained in the game box – and it comes with everything you need to do that, including the tiles, the cutest wooden people figurines, and all the cards explaining the stories! I love this game!

Bible Animals

I have to be honest with you – I could not win at this game! Once I explained the very simple rules to my preschooler, he kept beating me – round after round (after round… you get the picture).

Bible Animals is incredibly simple -you roll the dice trying to find matches to the cards.

It is also incredibly fun – we were all laughing in healthy competition! Each animal on the dice is found throughout Scripture, and if you take time to be intentional, it’s a great chance to chat about where these animals are found and the stories they teach us.

This game is perhaps the least “Biblically-intense” of all the ones we tried from Bible Games Central, but it is still a healthy, wholesome, incredibly fun game with biblical roots. You can’t go wrong with this one!

We received three other amazing games from Bible Games Central – Emoji Bible Stories Card Game, The Good Shepherd & Missions: End of the Earth. You can read our review of those games here!

Our friends at Bible Games Central have been gracious enough to give blog readers a code to use on these and any other games in their shop. You can use the code EQUIP20 to get 20% off on these (or any other games!) in their shop until December 10th.

It’s a great way to get some Christmas shopping done, and provide a way for your family (or families you serve!) to spend time together and be intentional in discipleship!
