My name is Julia Ball, and I am a Children’s & Families Pastor in Clarenville, Newfoundland. I get to serve at an awesome local church, Calvary Clarenville, where my husband, Andrew serves as Lead Pastor.
Andrew & I have two beautiful little ones – Levi & Lydia. We have been married for six years, and met while studying at Tyndale University in Toronto. Our family loves laughing, visiting new places, and serving Jesus together.
Before Equip Family, I ran a small blog called Ministry Mom – where I shared thoughts about life in ministry, ideas for kids’ pastors and thoughts for parents. While running Ministry Mom, I discovered a passion for equipping families for lifelong faith – with ideas, resources & solid, biblical teaching.
Along with Equip Family, I’m a contributor to Deeper Kidmin & KidzMatter. Some of my thoughts on kidmin have been featured in the Kidmin Rocks Podcast, The Kidmin Collective Podcast, Kidzmatter Library, ChurchLeaders.com, and as a breakout speaker for Children’s Pastors Conference.
If you’re wondering about what qualifies me to speak to your families, here are a few things you should know:
- I hold a Biblical Studies & Theology degree from Tyndale University.
- I have a Masters in Arts – Evangelical & Charismatic Studies degree from University of Birmingham.
My dissertation was on women and children in the Pentecostal movement. - I’m an Ordained Pastor with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland.
