On the blog this week, I’ve been sharing with you more of our heart on keeping things SIMPLE when it come to partnering with parents.

Here’s the heart of it:

Families (and those who lead them!) need resources for discipleship that are straightforward and simple.

Easy to use doesn’t mean “watered down” and insignificant though.

Simplifying discipleship doesn’t mean we take away its significance.

Instead, we focus only on what’s significant – making it straight-forward, to the point, and accessible for families in the world they live in.

We don’t try to create resources for the world we wish parents lived in – but the one they actually inhabit.

And that means keeping it simple.

Keeping things simple is really important to us here at Equip Family – and we want the resources (and freebies!) we share to be simple for you & the families you serve.

This week, we’re sharing a FREE Take-Home sheet outline. It’s meant to help you create a simple take-home sheet that families will actually use!

You can check out the Canva Template here.

If you’d rather, you can also check it out as a PDF.

This sheet is meant to help you really engage with parents – giving them simple, straight-forward tools to engage with what you are teaching at church and disciple at home!

The questions inside this take-home sheet are based on our brand new “Ask Me a Question” resource. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this resource. It is so simple, but I really believe it could be a game changer for your ministry, It includes 10 questions (10 for preschool, 10 for elementary) as social media images that you can share with parents each week. It also includes suggested captions – meant to make discipleship easy and engaging.

I really encourage you to check it out!

That’s not all!

This week, I am honoured to be partnering with my friend Dema to be sharing an amazing, simple-to-use resource for parents as a giveaway for e-mail subscribers only.

I love everything Dema creates – seriously. It’s so good. And this journal – “Jesus & Emotions” is one of my favourites so far.

Make sure that you are on the email list to enter to win 1 of 3 journals:
